How to set a MetaTrader 4 (MT4) trading account password?

It is important to note that you must set a password for every MT4, MT5, TradingView, and BlackBull Trade account that you create. You will use this password when logging into the trading platform combined with your account number for MT4 and MT5, and combined with your email address for TradingView and BlackBull Trade.

Bear in mind, if you forget your password in the future, you can repeat this process to reset your password at any time.

Click on the Accounts tab.

Click on the menu dots on an account card and select “Rest password”.

Type your new password and click SUBMIT.
