Which other stocks can catch SpaceX volatility?

The SpaceX IPO may not only affect SpaceX itself. A listing of this size could also move other markets. The IPO could become a broader space trade, an AI trade, a Tesla trade, and a liquidity event.

If SpaceX opens strongly, traders may chase other space names on the idea that the wider sector deserves more attention. Rocket Lab could be one of the main names in focus because it is already listed and has a clear link to launch services.

Tesla is another stock to watch. Tesla and SpaceX are separate companies, but both are tied to Elon Musk. Some investors may sell Tesla to buy SpaceX. Others may buy Tesla because they see renewed interest in Musk related companies.

AI stocks are also important here. SpaceX’s own IPO filing reportedly puts most of its total addressable market in AI. That makes the IPO timing interesting, as AI stocks have just seen a sharp pullback after months of strong gains, especially in Asia. The IPO lands right as investors are testing how much they still want to pay for AI growth.
